It’s funny how the flashback got censorship. I don’t know why, but i find it funny xD

  2. ryttyr says:

About how long ago was this?

    1. Shieltar says:

well, it happened after the last book, there is a stated time jump of 2 years. This flash back is using the old character designs… so it’s probably nearer the book 5 time than book 6. so about a year ago.

      1. Scarlet Rhine says:

Love the black ” censored” sign held by a hoof

        1. Pokelink says:

C’mon, Grace, is not like you haven’t shown them to Mark yet… right?

          1. Shieltar says:

Actually, it’s Mark doing the flash back, and he’s remembering her chest being significantly larger than it actually was.

            1. Icarus Hector says:

Was wondering about that. Also, the fact that HE can have a flashback to this moment is potentially incriminating?

            2. Ryan says:

Haha, that’s amazing! Wait… How is MARK having this flashback? He wasn’t there… right?

              1. Arcan says:

I wanna some Grac(full) boobies! xD haha

  3. Ersatz says:

were did Celestia and Luna wander off too?

  4. A wonderful life says:

Celestia and Luna knew what was up and vanished. Can’t say I blame them.

  5. “No dad, you’re just imagining it…this is not the pony you were looking for.”

“Yes, I was just imagining it…you were not the pony I was looking for.”

    ;D

    1. Astromormy says:

Lol, I was just about to make that comment.

  6. Cylestea says:

Grace stop breaking the 4th wall to censor a flashback!

    1. Christinewho/shyflow says:

Remember Mark doING the Flashback, but how did he knows about it…He wasn’t there? She could have them him, but it’s like if he was there…

      1. Christinewho/shyflow says:

        Tell him*

  7. BenRG says:

I have no doubt that Grace’s plan worked fine right up until the moment that she actually tried it!

  8. Aerotendo says:

Did *anyone* notice that the hair style flipped from pony to human? (Left to right?)
Still, I thought it was quite funny that she was so used to pony that she didn’t even realize that she was as a pony until it was pointed out by her father. Lol!

    1. ryttyr says:

Ah thank you. I noticed simething but didn’t realise what it was until you pointed it out.

  9. Pokelink says:

Before transforming into a pony, she was sleeping always naked? I mean, is a normal ocurrece for Grace’s father to barge in her daughter’s room while she is sleeping and naked?

If she don’t usually sleep naked, she is busted (if the obliviousness of her father don’t save her).
But if she does… that’s awkward, to say the least…

    1. Shieltar says:

It’s less obvious than I thought. But, before she took to sleeping as a pony, Grace wore PJ’s. in fact she spends the entirety of book 4 either as a pony, or in her PJ’s. Because she didn’t change her clothes from what she went to sleep in the previous night.

The rule of clothes transformations I’m sticking to, is that instinctive transformations do drag clothes with you. But when deciding to transform on purpose it’s very hard to do clothes too.

      1. ryttyr says:

What happens to those clothes that aren’t transferred then?

        1. MOW says:

They go to the place of lost socks and ballpoint pens.

        2. Shieltar says:

I’m thinking along the lines of being shredded at the atomic level, and are what makes up the magic poof clouds.

          1. ryttyr says:

Oh. Damn. I hope she haven’t obliterated any of her favorite clothes by carelessly transforming then. But wait… What’s poofing when she transforms by accident then?

            1. Shieltar says:

particulate matter like dust, highly charged with magical energy till it glows, that happens to be in the area at the time. or something like that. And she deffinately has destroyed some of her favorite clothes in this way. she lost so many PJ’s and underwear while learning to transform at will…

              1. ryttyr says:

Oh noes. Poor PJ’s. But wouldn’t she realize that she cant transform at will without destroying her clothes pretty quickly? Or os she stubborn and thinks that she can do it with enough practise?
Also why doesn’t unintentional transformations destroy clothes? I assume It’s because of plot convenience and to keep things pg but then why did you decide that intentional transformations do destroy clothes?

              2. ryttyr says:

Wait. I just recalled that you once told me (back on DA) that she transforms by shifting her body’s state between different planes of existence, one where she’s a human and one where she’s a pony so does her clothes get left behind in the other plane and that’s what destroys them?

      2. Pokelink says:

Ok, so she doesn’t sleep naked, that makes this less creepy. But that raises the question of him not asking where her PJ went or since when she started to sleep naked. Because… you know… a normal father would give her daughter some intimacy in that regard if that started happening… then again, Prof. Harmoney is not exactly what you would call a “normal father”, but I think it should get adressed in some way, like the last time she was naked in front of her father: not making a fuss about it, but noticing it)

  10. ryttyr says:

Wait. I just thought of something. If the T.R.E.E absorbs Celestia and Luna’s excess magic does that mean that Grace generates her own magic seeing as she can still fly and transform years after the T.R.E.E was activated?

    1. TheArcticWolf says:

Hmmm that’s a very interesting thought. If a human is exposed to enough pony magic they turn into a pony, but retain the ability to go back to human. All ponies either generate magic (or absorb it from the environment, but according to this story it’s the first), so once a human reaches the point were they ponify then there is no going back.

      1. ryttyr says:

Is this canon or your own theory?

        1. A wonderful life says:

I would like to know the canon status of that theory too. But if it hits too close to the mark, the author will probably stay silent.

        2. TheArcticWolf says:

This is my own theory based on what has been shown in the story.

  11. Borg says:

He’s definitely going to buy that.
